Concrete Repair

Many ice-melt products damage the top surface of concrete resulting in spalls and trip hazards. After years of heavy traffic concrete can become worn and slippery. Heavy impacts can crack the top surface of concrete. Use Durável TRO to permanently repair concrete without the downtime and expense of tearing out the entire slab.

Residential

Durável TRO will repair damaged driveways and provide an even color from curb to garage. Resurfacing with Durável TRO avoids damage caused by tearing out and replacing a driveway or sidewalk. Established landscape, grass, lighting, invisible fences, irrigation systems, and adjacent surface can be protected easily.

Commercial

With the highest compressive rating in the industry and fiber reinforcement to maximize tensile and flexural strength, Durável TRO is strong enough to handle forklifts and other heavy traffic. Eliminate trip-fall hazards on sidewalks and entryways. Fill worn concrete to restore smooth concrete floors in warehouses and stockrooms.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS 

1. As a Repair Mortar:
   Pre-wet substrate to Saturated Surface Damp (SSD), and continue wetting as needed during product application. Pour out mixed product onto the repair area, then spread with trowels and/or squeegees. Durável TRO may be applied at a thickness of up to 1/4″; use the product in lifts for thicker repairs.
   
2. When Troweling:
   Pre-wet substrate to Saturated Surface Damp (SSD), and continue wetting as needed during product application. Pour out mixed product onto the substrate in ribbons over the immediate work area, then spread evenly with trowels and/or squeegees. Under normal conditions, the mixed product has a +/- thirty-minute pot life, so it is optional to pour out the entire mix at once. The typical coverage rate is 180 square feet per bag per application. Finish the first coat (base coat) smooth. The topcoat may be troweled smooth by hand or power trowel or finished in a broom texture using a concrete (broom) brush.
   
3. When spraying:
   Keep the substrate dry. Use a hopper gun or compressed air sprayer to apply mixed product to the desired texture. Coverage ranges from 120 to 150 square feet per bag, depending on the texture applied.
   NOTE: Do not apply Durável TRO in locations that are permanently submerged.
