18% Solids Low Viscosity Concrete Clear Sealer

18% Solids Low Viscosity Concrete Clear Sealer

First Day Low is a low sheen pure acrylic sealer for fresh poured concrete and resealing. When used on newly poured concrete the MMA-enhanced low sheen formula slows hydration, protects color, and reduces surface checking. First Day Low protects concrete from damaging salt, rain, ice, and stains with a reduced gloss finish.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
First Day Plus may be applied as soon as concrete can support weight for its first coat after the placement process.

First Day Low should be applied when the surface temperature is between 50 degrees and 80 degrees. It is best to apply it when the surface is cool in the morning, or an overcast day. Applying First Day Low to a surface that is in direct sunlight and rapidly heating above 80 degrees may result in bubbling issues and an uneven coating.

First Day Low is applied by Acetone-Resistant pump up sprayer. Typically apply in two even coats. Allow enough time between coats for solvents to evaporate to avoid surface blushing. Avoid puddling in low areas. Back roll as needed to remove excess sealer in low parts of the concrete texture. For best results, use a .5 GPM tip with plenty of air pressure in the tank to create an even dispersion of the sealer. Maintain a wet edge between passes to limit lap lines. Sealer should be applied in thin coats. Rolling First Day Low is not recommended and may result in an uneven appearance and reduced performance.
